Garret was adopted from Mexico as an infant and was raised in Laurelhurst. Growing up he travelled all over the world with his parents, who had an academic interest in North Africa and the Middle East. Travelling gave Garret a deep interest and a passion for serving others in need.
As a young adult, Garret worked with a variety of wilderness programs along the Pacific NW Coast and inland regions. Over time, he gained experience in back-country, trail maintenance, wildland firefighting and Wilderness Emergency Medical Training. Eventually, Garret further developed and deepened his desire and calling to serve people in need. Garret and his wife moved to Eugene Oregon. There they spent almost 6 years working with at-risk-youth. During this time Garret also started an online, resale business, which allowed his family an opportunity to relocate, back to Seattle in 2021.
Garret is proud to be part of Windermere, bringing over a year of experience, a strategic mindset, and a grounded presence to every transaction. Drawing on his background in wilderness leadership, youth mentorship, and business ownership, Garret has developed a keen ability to recognize patterns—in people, markets, and timing—that help his clients make confident, informed decisions in a fast-moving real estate landscape.
Outside of real estate, Garret enjoys weightlifting, running half marathons, playing chess, and swimming with his kids.
